The Running Start workshop is an in-depth look at the requirements for National Board Certification. It will give candidates information and guidance to get started with the process. The virtual workshop includes information about the five core propositions, certificate specific standards, the architecture of accomplished teaching and instructions for components 2, 3 and 4.

You must be a registered candidate for National Board Certification through the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards and have paid your portion of the fees for components you’ve selected.  We will check the National Board records one week prior to the workshop to ensure each candidate is registered and has paid the necessary fees.

The workshop is being held Saturday, October 14 2023 via Zoom.   You will be able to join us for whichever sessions you wish, using this schedule:
