In 2010, the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards presented four models of how NBCTs and National Board programs can be used to drive education reform. They called these models "Profiles in Excellence". Washington State, Chicago, IL, Montogomery County Public Schools, MD, and Wyoming serve as the four models.
